Job Experience:

Prototyping, analysis, design, build, source code control, unit and system testing, software delivery and production maintenance.
8+ years experience with all stages of software quality assurance including black box testing, white box testing, performance, stress and load testing, requirements analysis, test planning, reporting/control and root cause analysis.
5+ years experience test automation development experience, both functional automation and performance automation, using vendor products such as SilkTest, Rational tools, Mercury, etc.,
3+ years experience as a technical lead or QA automation architect.
Candidate MUST have implemented maintainable automation frameworks using vendor products.
Candidate MUST have implemeted automation using the following design concepts:
- Data Driven
- Key Word Driven
- Function Based
2+ years experience leading performance tests using vendor products such as SilkPerformer, LoadRunner, etc.,

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Management Responsibilities

Assume overall P&L responsibility for community and content-based website(s), with management of both direct teams and shared resources.
Direct the development of sound strategy, positioning, and growth objectives.
- Lead market and competitive analysis activities for the category. Define and implement the positioning and unique selling proposition of the sites to its consumer audience and sponsors/advertisers.

Day-to-Day Tactical Management Responsibilities

Site Design
- Direct the development of business and functional specifications, with the assistance of the Product Manager. Work with Web Development on site design; with Technology on site build/redesign projects; and with internal specialists on ongoing site optimization efforts.
- Drive and implement the product roadmap and features for the site(s).
Content Strategy and Features
- Manage online editors, site managers, and freelance writers on overall content direction, features, and tools. Source and hire contributors.
- Develop community features that engage user participation and loyalty.
- Oversee programming of home page and channels.
- Oversee Search Engine Optimization of site content, working with internal and external specialists.
- Identify goals and help Business Development to negotiate and set terms with strategic content and commerce partners. Execute partnerships on site(s).
Audience Development

- Define and execute guerilla and viral marketing efforts.

Ancillary Products

- Ensure that site meets all federal and NameMedia policies related to spam compliance; terms of services; community standards; and any special category- relevant policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

This role requires a versatile online media manager with both strategic and tactical capabilities, up-to-date knowledge of web 2.0 models, and an entrepreneurial ethic.

Experience and Abilities- The ideal candidate will bring most, if not all, of the following:

Direct experience with the day-to-day management of web-based content, community, or marketplace sites for one or more consumer-focused Internet businesses;
